Hollywood: 20th Century Fox, 1989. First Edition . Oversize Paper in Box. An elaborate presskit-promo package for James Cameron's undersea adventure that was not warmly received by critics when first released but has since developed a cult following. The cast included Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Michael Biehn. The kit consists of thirteen 8" x 10" b&w stills and star portraits laid in a black folder. Also included are two large spiral bound paper books. One consists of biographies of the cast and crew and is 40pgs and is printed in full color on heavy glossy paper. The 2nd spiral bound book is production information and is 28pgs also in full color and printed on heavy glossy paper. These two books are stunning and along with the stills are set in a heavy cardboard box. The box has some light wear, with the back having minor indentation, otherwise the enclosed material is fine. Uncommon.

Beautifully drawn and produced in lush wash color drawings, it is rare to find the complete set and rare to find them in this pristine condition.

Signed copies of his books are not that common. This edition has very attractive dustjacket artwork and a blurb by Thomas M. Disch. Tiny nick to the top point and very minor soiling to the white back panel of the dj. Fine/near fine.

Written by the noted author and screenwriter who wrote several films for Howard Hawks, most notably "The Big Sleep" which was co written with William Faulkner & Jules Furthman. Tiny corner crease to the top of the front cover, otherwise a nice tight bright copy. Also included is Brackett's Secret Of Sinharat" & "People Of The Talisman." This is the 1st appearance of both novels that were published by Ace as one of their double paperback novels in 1964. Very minute wear to the covers + usual browning to the cheap paper used. Vg.
