Two volume dark orange cloth covered boards with gilt particulars to front covers and spines. Gilt edges. No previous owner's name or other markings. Tissue guarded illustrations. Occasional foxing.. 4.5 x 6.75 in

Blue stapled paper wraps. A total of 16 issues including the complete year of 1930 and 1932, as well as January-June of 1931 and March-April of 1923. Colored frontis plates. No previous owners' names or other defacements.

Eight volumes in four. 336 hand-colored engraved plates, including frontispiece. Contemporary brown English straight-grain morocco with gilt lettering to spine and gilt fillets. Five raised bands on each. Marbled endpapers and edges. Slight foxing to initial pages not affecting plates. Bookplates to front pastedown of each volume. Leather to hinges separating, but binding fully attached. Wear to the top and tail of spines (see image). Small neat signature and date to rear of front endpaper of volume I. Please expect extra postage as this is a larger set. 9.5 x 12 in each

Full green cloth with gilt particulars to front cover and spine. Inscribed by the author in pencil to title page dated 1871 signed "by the author". Complete with 15 plates by Frank Bott. Minor spotting to first few pages and wear to corners (see image). Clean copy with no previous owners' names or defacements.

Recent blue cloth and endpapers. Gilt title to front cover and spine. This work includes a Prospectus [1872] pp. 1-8 and then continues with Part I. [1872] pp. 1-32, Part II. [1873] pp. 33-64, and Part III. [1874] pp. 65-88. No further parts of this work were published. Two hand-colored plates as well as a double in black/white. Title page and Prospectus page backed with no loss to text, as bottom of pages were damaged (see image). Previous owner's name to front endpaper and previous owner's partially erased inscription in pencil to title page. Moderate tape residue throughout. Tears to sides of initial pages not affecting text with minor pencil notations. No other markings. Rare. 9.5 x 11.75 in

Framed with Plexiglas and wire hanging hardware. Lithograph printed by J.T. Bowen, Philadelphia. Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity by the Audubon House & Tropical Gardens in Key West, FL, copy of the purchase receipt, and text booklet with Audubon's description.
