An original American release 8" x 10" horz. close-up portait of Eddie Constantine as Lemmy Cauction whose skin looks like a close-up of an oatmeal cookie from Godards's Alphaville which was one of his semi accessible films mixing sci-fi with film noir. Stylish with a wonderful supporting cast and some uncredited cameos. Based on a poem by Paul Eluard. Cinematography by the great Raoul Coutard.

Also includes a lot of background text on the history of the film, the players and more. Minute rippling to the left side of the cover which appears to be printed on plastic and was probably caused in the binding, the book itself including the interior is fine.

THE CARD WAS PART OF SIMON'S SUPER STAR CARD SET AND WAS PUBLISHED IN 1986. THE VERSO OF THE CARD HAS BIO. AND CAREER INFORMATION ON MANTLE AND WAS THIS CARD WAS NO. 11 IN THE SET. Fine.

Beautiful catalog of the great artist's works includes excerpts from his diaries and 42 tipped in color plates along with a short bio. The acetate dustjacket with Munch's name printed on it has minute wear including minor tears but considering the fragility and age of it is in very nice condition. The catalog itself has the usual tonning to the paper due to age but is in vg+ conditoin. A nice looking catalog and quite uncommon.

Laid in is a nice full color 8pg. foldover for a large exhibition of his work at the Museum Of Modern Art in 2006.
