Small book, beautiful color-illustration of angel on front with ornate colorful border, heavy pages with vivid color-illustrations or colorful calligraphy, just a handful of pages. Very slight wear to top tips, covers very slightly soiled, contents Fine.

Color frontispiece, chromolithographs, decorations and decorative borders, rubricated capital letters. Very good. Binding a bit rubbed and slightly edgeworn, though internally fine. A tight and attractive first of this illustrated edition, an elaborate production done in a pseudo illuminated manuscript style, of the best known hymn by the short-lived English poet (1805-48) -- long believed (erroneously) to be the tune played by the Titanic's eight-piece orchestra as the ship sank in 1912. A lovely copy.

Larger, sturdy, book, textured dark purple cloth with beveled edges, all edges gilt, very bright embossed gilt and black title at top front with bright gilt rays illustrated, an image of woman and flowers, stiff thicker glossy pages with a final tiny illustration, ornate flowery designs in shades of purple inside covers and adjacent end papers. Very slight surface wear at tips and spine edges.
