Sobre este artículo

Mexico City: Arbol, Editorial Seneca, 1940. First edition thus. Paperback. Near Fine. 1940, First illustrated edition and the first edition in Spanish only. This is the second overall edition of this famous work, the first was published anonymously in a bilingual edition a few weeks prior. Softcover, original wraps. 187 pp., top edges uncut after page 78. Four illustrations by Lorca, including two in color. Additional poems in preface by Machado. Near Fine in original glassine wrap. Very minor wear to the edges of the wraps; faint dampstain visible to the bottom corner of the last two leaves only; contents otherwise bright, clean and unmarked. The glassine jacket appears to have done an excellent job protecting the book. Beautiful copy of one of Lorca's best cycles of work.
