Sobre este artículo

Edinburgh: Wood and Co, 1856. Hardcover. Small 4to. Full brown calf, heavily gilt-embossed, gilt spine and compartments, inner dentelles. ix, 168pp; 188pp. All edges gilt and with decorative tooling. Sewn-in brown silk page marker. Very good. Binding a bit edgeworn (mainly along hinges) but tight and attractive and handleable, with inner hinges separated; 1862 nonauthorial gift inscription on front flyleaf and recipient's ownership signature on inner flyleaf. Nice later printing of this classic anthology trilogy (with three title pages), first published by this same publisher in 1850. Graham (1789-1867) was a noted Scottish musicologist whose fame rested on this work.
