Sobre este artículo
First Edition. Near Fine. BAL 16383. Profusely illustrated by Howard Pyle. A collection of folktales retold by Pyle's sister, greatly enhanced by his superb illustrations (which often reveal a sense of humor not usually associated with Pyle). These stories and pictures were originally published in Harper's Young People (1885-87). Morse & Brinckle 121. Re-backed in brown leather with original gilt-lettered green cloth. New endpapers. Light edge wear to top and bottom of boards. Edge wear tips, including small split to cloth at two of the tips. Owner inscription with tissue inserted showing owner's family tree. Owner bookplate on inside board.
