He later came to America in 1910 and studied interior design at the Art Institute of Chicago. Leon Pescheret studied interior decorating at the Art Institute of Chicago and became an instructor of interior design in 1919 and published this volume privately before its later appearance of publication by the Academy of Applied Interior Decorating who issued this text in loose leaf binders for the use of student instructional materials.
