Binding is firm throughout with minor thumb-marking. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and half title page. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Mild sunning to spine, which has mild crushing and wear to ends. Moderate water stains to boards. Book has forward lean. Boards are notably warped.

End papers are not tanned or marked; with pencil notes to rear free end paper. Tanned cut edges. The text block is in very good minus condition, with tight, straight pages; not tanned or foxed. Pink underlining on page 103 and on a few other pages. No dedications etc. Without jacket.
