This album is composed of 13 mounted photographs with captions supplied by hand, most right measuring around 2 1/4 x 3 3/8 to 2 7/8 x 3 7/8 inches (all landscape format). The images appear to be a mix of pre-and-post-1945. Bound in pastepaper boards with mounted photo label (untitled). Image captions: 1. Hand-made souvenir photo album of Adolf Hitler's Bavarian mountaintop aerie Kehlsteinhaus, known in English as 'The Eagles Nest', measuring 7 x 4 3/4 inches. Some of the images *may* be based in part on the photographs of the photographer Library of Congress identifies as 'Herr Bedo', this album is composed of 16 mounted photographs with captions supplied by hand, most right around 4 x 2 7/8 inches (some landscape, some portrait), with the opening image 4 5/8 x 3 3/8 inches. The images appear to be largely pre-1945, with exceptions such as 'The Big Tea Room' featuring a group of American soldiers in uniform, and the two post-bombing views of Hitler and Goring's houses. Presumably created for the postwar tourist trade (largely US military) of visitors to Berchtesgaden.
