Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

There is a small tape repair externally at the head of the back hinge. An annotation on the half title page hints at publication before 1941 but this may not be correct.
