Caroline Fry (1787-1846) (later Mrs Caroline Wilson) was born in a wealthy High Church family (not to be confused with the Quaker Frys, who came from a different part of England) but while living an irreligious and unhappy life was converted, surprisingly through the influence of a clergyman's daughter who apparently did not have a personal dependence on Christ..
