Hinges were long ago repaired and some areas of pages near gutter admit to browning from old tape. A few minor spots to interior

Ex-library, bound in original cloth over paper covered boards, with top edges gilt. The 2nd volume is more worn than the first. Cloth strip over the spine of volume 1 is blue, while the cloth strip over the spine of volume 2 is green, both as published. Hinges are cracked, though all leaves remain in place. Texts are clean. Volumes admit to a number of small bumps and medium to heavy wear in places on exterior. Light to medium soiling to exterior. Overall, still a good working copy
