Knight, Daniel Ridgway : ENGRAVING: SHOWING A GROUP OF FARM PEASANTS GATHERING POTATOES (SIGNED BY COURTAULD OFF THE PLATE) - This engraving, presented on Japanese tissue paper dates to ca1900 and depicts a work by Daniel Ridgway Knight. It shows a rural scene with a group of five peasants engaged on collecting potatoes in bags and carting them. The engraving is presented in its original French mount and is signed of the plate by A. Courtald. It measures 17" x 13" image size, 24" x 20" overall. The engraving is in very good condition, free from stains, foxing etc. ; 17" x 13" .
