Corners are bumped and minor shelf wear. Does have some a pen mark on front cover and on end papers/bookplate, and one or two pages of text. Text is generally quite clean with nice illustrations. Red cloth covers with hockey player pictorial front. ; California State Series; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 309 pages .

Ex-library copy with usual stamps, stickers and markings. Library pocket is attached to the inside of the front cover and the slip is attached to the front end page. Library wrote three small notations on the spine. Scuffed pages that have a few small pencil marks on the title page but the rest of the pages appear to be free of markings. No dust jacket. Covers are scuffed and worn but still in good condition for the book's age. Ex-library with the pocket attached to the inside of the front cover and the check-out slip attached to the front end page. Library stamps and markings on the half title page and the title page. Some pages are torn and were taped back together by the library. Decorative endpapers. Prev. owner's bookplate neatly attached. Otherwise unmarked. Moderate soil to covers. Wear at spine ends and cover corner tips. Interior very clean. Mild interior warping. No creasing. Beautiful black & white and color illustrations throughout are nice and bright. Binding solid. In protective plastic bag. A very special and well-preserved collectible little book.; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .

Inside shows a few stains and smudges, but generally clean and uncreased. An attractive early edition of this classic. ; 7.20 x 4.95 x 0.40 inches; 66 pages .

Silver Burdett Company. Good with no dust jacket. 1946. Hardcover. Good hardcover with tight binding that is starting to loosen at the front hinge. No dust jacket. Edges and corners of covers and especially the spine are heavily worn and frayed, revealing the boards underneath. "R. D. S." is written on the front cover and there is a light blue paint spot. End pages and inside the covers have a previous owner's name written in marker along with initials on the front end page. Ex-library copy with a library stamp on the front end page.
