Very little wear. This book offers the history of Hopkinsville, as told through a collection of black and white images from vintage postcards. Each image is accompanied wit a brief caption explaining and elaborating on the image.

No dust jacket. The book shows some water damage, including some staining at the front, extending through about page 27 (see photo #3, 4). Remaining pages show just some minor waviness at the top. There is a spine break at page 144, with binding fabric showing through. No pages are loose, but the half-title page is missing the lower right quarter (also see photo #4). A book full of black and white photography from many of the more important Southern California events from 1920 to 1987 (a series of photos from the 1984 Olympics are in color). Photos # 8 and 9 show a series of uncaptioned photographs described as a gallery of New Age Los Angeles Rock and Roll bands (1979). Recognize anyone? This book will ship at over three pounds. Trade paperback. Very little wear. Bookstore price sticker on back. Twenty three accounts of battles between American Indians and the invaders on their land. Originally published in 1904, 423 pages.

Stories of the Indian wars, not from the Indian point of view, however. Richly illustrated with drawings of Frederic Remington and others. Very little wear for a 75 year old book. Something was glues inside the front and back covers, but has been removed. Otherwise the book is intact and relatively undamaged.

Published as campaign material during Lincoln's campaign for his first term in 1860. Cover of stamped dark brown fabric with gilt on the spine. Spine states "Honest Old Abe" followed by The Life of Abraham Lincoln and the authors name. A gilt axe and portrait of Lincoln precedes the publisher's name at the base of the spine. The free portions of the spine are missing, top and bottom, as is most of the fabric on the edges (see photos, #6 shows the top edge and #7 the lower edge). There is a split along the lower rear edge of the spine of about 5 cm (see photo #5). The binding is solid, and the pages are tight, with some foxing and tanning as would be expected, although I've seen far younger books with much more of both. A gift inscription in faded pencil on the front free endpaper indicates that S. Randall received this book April 10 of 1860 from Uncle Chauncy. This is one of four books where the author presents her theories about 9/11 in a fictional form. This is far from the official accounts (and seems to be further "out there" than the typical 9/11 truther). Or, if this is where you are coming from, please disregard the above. Seems to be kinda rare.
The book has a couple of corner creases and the corners are all turned a bit. The spine is creaseless yet skewed a little. Some soiling.
