A seldom-encountered novel and the author's only work in the Western genre. Bontly was a gifted if little-known novelist, and a long-time member of the English faculty at UW-Madison.

A very good copy. 254pp. Internally clean. A tense suspense novel from the author probably best known for the Poldark novels, and "Marnie.
