N.p.: N.p., 1980. Vintage photograph of legendary animator and voice actor Chuck Jones at the drawing board, circa 1980s. Stamp of Long Photography studio in Los Angeles on the verso. Jones is best remembered for his work for Warner Brothers, co-creating characters for the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts (including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, and Porky Pig). Jones won an Academy Award for his 1965 short film "The Dot and the Line," and was presented with an Honorary Academy Award in 1996. 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.

The 14th animated feature film by Walt Disney, who first purchased the play rights in 1938. Black-and-white still photograph from an early episode of "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" (1954-1992), struck from a new negative in 1977 per the reference number on the negative, which reads "television-SPEC.77 / 1054-8006." The original series premiered in 1954 on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) as "Disneyland," aired in black-and-white, and became "Walt Disney Presents" (1958). Re-titled "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" (1961) and later "The Wonderful World of Disney" (1972-1979, 1986-1987, 1994-2009), each show was hosted by Disney himself, and featured animated shorts, original Disney feature one-hour edits, and documentary information about Disneyland. In the mid 1970s, Walt Disney Productions was facing a decline in revenue (at this time the show moved from ABC to NBC), and the National Broadcasting Company was losing audiences overall, so the show would rerun older episodes and cartoon compilations.
