Groundbreaking series about a young orphan girl who eventually comes to head her own motion picture company in the early decades of the 20th century, laying the groundwork for other children's series featuring strong female leads. This was Vol. #4 in the series of 30 books), in 202 pages + 10 pages of ads in rear, glossy frontispiece. Orig. published in 1913, this is a slightly later printing of that First Edition, listing to RF#5 in front, RF#12 in rear. Condition is Poor: basically a reading copy or place holder.
