Boards detached (see image); title page shaved close at head. Five raised bands. Remnants of gilt ruled morocco label. Bookplate of Claudia Q. Murphy, who was a published cook book author herself in the early 20th century. 5 x 8.25 in

Heavy stock grey sewn wraps. Hand-written in ink and script of the time throughout. Appears to be the day book of Eli Taylor concerning his business dealings, debts and/or credits, as well as an alphabetical Ledger. Also includes a strange poem on the last page regarding the author listening to a friend who talks about his art skills incessantly and so the author commissions a flat bottomed kettle. The friend goes to work but it ends up being both too small and too large, so the author fears it will never get done and so ends the poem with a prayer for the friend to figure out the diameter and length otherwise they doubt it will ever be finished. Liquid staining to back wrap and last few pages, although text is still legible. Losses and wear to wraps (see image). Unpaginated. 7 x 8 1/2 inches.

Embossed dark green cloth boards with gilt title to front cover. Contains a previous bookstore's stamp to front fly. A otherwise clean copy without previous owners' names or other markings. ; 4.5 x 7 in; 104;8 pages.

Plaid decorated wooden boards with dark brow leather spine with gilt particulars. All edge gilt. Heavy weight album boards with decorative frames. Textured endpapers. Various black and white original photographs of people from most likely between 1930-1960s. Inscribed: "To Lilian, from Mrs. C Carlin Hool," otherwise no other names or other markings. Wear to leather spine (see image). Losses to gilt on edges. 5 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches.
