I found only two others from 1929 online, neither of which are leather-bound. This seems to be a very rare edition. Originally published in 1919.

Book has clearly been read. You can tell by the slightly curled cover, many creases in the spine and rubs on the edges and corners. All pages are present, intact, clean and fairly bright. Boldt/Matthews book #8.

This oversized paperback (593+ pages) has suffered some wear the way such paperbacks always do, in the form of many spine creases and a curvature to the spine. There is also a little bit of wear at the edges and corners. The pages, however, are clean, fairly tight and quite readable. But, at almost 600 pages, probably not in one night. This is the first of seven novels to feature the team of Kovac and Liska.
