"The Airplanes (and the Train series exhibited at the Olga Korper Gallery in the summer of 1985 and measuring 1.22 X 43.89m) are a series of images related to each other and to an intense personal experience of family loss and death. The black silhouettes hang or seemingly move in an expanse of agitated colour.
