This was originally published for private circulation in 1913. Some random recollections precede the main text which is divided into four sections: Progress and Development of the Business; Interesting Specimens and New Discoveries; Some Noted Big-Game Sportsmen, and section four which provides information on author and publisher, scientific collections acquired, and presentation to museums. Rowland Ward (1848-1912) was a British taxidermist and founder of the firm that bore his name, a firm renowned for handling big game trophies.
