Dr. Chris Fuzie is a developer/trainer/coach/consultant for leadership of public, private, profit, and non-profit organizations. Chris holds a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Organizational Leadership through Brandman University. While conducting doctoral coursework, Chris developed and obtained the copyright for S.C.O.R.E. Performance Counseling Method as well as L.E.A.D.E.R. Action Method. Chris' other formal education is in Organizational Leadership (B.A. and M.A.), and has graduate certificates in Human Resources and Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia, he earned while attending the FBI National Academy. Much of his experience is based more than 40 years working in different organizational fields, including 28 years in law enforcement. Chris retired as the Assistant Division Commander for Investigations, and he has led such units as the department's Homicide Team, Hostage Negotiations Team, Investigations Division, Traffic Motor Unit, Training Unit, Gang Investigations Team, Street Level Narcotics Enforcement Team, Mental Health Team, and served as Patrol Commander, and Department Watch Commander. Chris has been involved in training for more than 20 years for public agencies. Chris has trained for large agencies such as California Highway Patrol, Oakland Police Department and police and sheriff's offices in California and Nevada. Chris has been been working with private sector leadership training for the past 7 years and has recently conducted training for the US Army, Chris has served as a National Instructor and the Lead Instructor for the Leadership in Police Organizations in California through the International Association of Chiefs of Police. His formal education and his 15+ years experience in those critical leadership positions has given him a unique blend of real world experience coupled with leadership theory and education, to provide an excellent leadership coaching/consulting base.
