The Art of War Tapa blanda - 2013

de Sun Tzu; Wusun Lin (Translator)

Información de la editorial

To mark its tenth anniversary, Long River Press is releasing a paperback edition of its first published book, Sun Tzu's classic "The Art of War." Known throughout history as one of the greatest works of military history, "The Art of War "has long been studied, analyzed, and adapted by scholars, commanders, athletes, and corporate CEOs. Originally written during a time of great upheaval in China, the book repeatedly emphasizes the use of restraint, careful analysis, and, most importantly, introspection and cultivation of one's inner self. This edition of "The Art of War "situates Sun Tzu's classic text as one of the greatest works of the Chinese philosophical canon. Rather than adapting Sun Tzu's writings for contemporary genres, this minimalist, aesthetic, less-is-more edition faithfully captures the essence of the original text, which continues to make a lasting impact on the world more than 2,500 years after its creation.

Wusun Lin is one of China's most acclaimed translators with a career spanning five decades. He is executive vice president of the Translators Association of China, and adjunct professor of the School of Journalism and Communications at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.
