A.L.S., 12 mo. 2 pages, on his personalized card, Peel Cottage, March 10, 1951, in full: "Many thanks for your nice letter - you are very extravagant in buying my [painting] "Molds of Posterity." The life of St. Paul for which I made 4 large watercolors appeared in the American 'Woman's Home Companion' in 1931. I never saw it and only got pull-sheets of two, possibly three, of my companions. Thanks again for your kind appreciation and ... with all good wishes." Boldly signed and in very good condition.<br/> <br/> Scottish artist and illustrator especially known for his watercolors of women.<br/> <br/>
