Colish of Mount Vernon, NY. 4to, 132p. Bound in maroon linen with titles stamped in gold upon a black leather spine label. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. About Fine Publisher's tan slipcase also with little or no wear with just a hint of toning in. Original LEC newsletter and prospectus both still present and laid in. Signed by the illustrator, T.M. Cleland, on a special limitation page in the rear of the book. A beautiful collectable copy at a great price.
Sinopsis
The Way of the World premiered in England in 1700, and is considered on of the best Restoration comedies written. The play follows two lovers, their quest to marry, and the myriad characters and relationships which stand in their way.
