Laminated cover and usual ex-lib type of markings - jacket attached to book. Interior tight and clean other than 2-3 pages with light soiling and small peeled area on endpage. Colour illustrations. Moderate edgewear/edge wrinkling to laminate and jacket, small edge tears and chips to laminate. Laminate has caused some creases to jacket. Light soiling. " One hundred years ago, one would have been hard put to count all the folk kilns producing wares for local use throughout Japan. Today's folk kilns are nowhere as numerous and wares produced as such kilns drawn upon the vigor of the individual traditions, displaying an honest utility and diversity of form, decoration and technique.
