The third impression of this work. Albert B. The writing is characterised by the author's strong ideas of colonialism and imperialism. With numerous plates in black and white, complete with two folding maps. In the original publisher's illustrated full cloth binding. Externally smart with minor shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. 'Winsford Christian Brotherhood' bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting scattered throughout. With numerous plates in black and white, 'Usagara Landscape' and 'The Ferry' loose but present. Complete with two folding maps. Very Good
