Ephemera for a special Bryn Mawr Alumnae benefit performance of Stuart Walker's stage production of The Book of Job, the first English-language dramatization of the biblical text. The three-part "visualized poem" was staged at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia.

This group consists of a four-page brochure with a biography about Walker, play summary, and press reviews; a subscription blank and envelope; a circular letter from Gertrude Ely, Chairman of the Bryn Mawr Alumnae Association of Eastern Pennsylvania; and a handbill describing the alumnae scholarship program at Bryn Mawr College.

Stuart Walker founded the Portmanteau repertory theater company in 1914. In 1930, he began a career in Hollywood, achieving success as a screenwriter, director and producer. Walker produced stage adaptations for Booth Tarkington, Lord Dunsany, P.G. Wodehouse, Sinclair Lewis, and others.
