Sobre este artículo
Paris: Sygma, 1982. Two vintage oversize borderless photographs of African American graffiti artist A-One in 1982. With mimeo snipes on the verso in English and French dated December 1982, noting the name of photographer Diego Goldberg.
Anthony Clark, widely known by the name A-One, was a founding member of a number of New York street art groups, most notably the "Tag Master Killers," a group which included fellow graffiti artists Ramellzee, Toxic, Delta 2, and Kool Koor. Admired by many contemporary New York underground artists, including Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, his work was featured in the 1984 Venice Biennale-making him the youngest artist, at 20 years old, to be shown in the Biennale that year. His work was also exhibited in a number of solo exhibitions in the US and Europe. He died unexpectedly at 37, on 2001, from a brain hemorrhage.
11.75 x 8 inches. Fine.
