This is a Very Good copy of Heinemann's Third Impression (stated). This edition more scarce than the First. Green cloth binding, ruled on the covers; titling and decorations on the spine in gilt. Clean text; x, 219 pages; followed by a Note regarding its partial appearance in the Saturday Review of January 1895; followed by a one-page advert for "The Time Machine." Lightly rubbed around the margins; rough-cut pages a bit dusty; some bubbling on the front cover. The gilt on the spine is a bit dulled but is perfectly readable. A solid copy; in an archival plastic protector.. Third Impression. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
