Original decorated cloth stamped in blind on the sides, spine lettered in gold. Engraved title, frontispiece, and four inserted plates with woodcuts. Biography of the famous Arctic explorer. Some wear to corner tips and spine ends, a touch of foxing to edges of text block. A very good copy. Sabin 22094.; Octavo.
