Textblock edges lightly shelf soiled; interior bright and tight. very good First hand account of a journey from Zanzibar to the heart of the Belgian Congo. Lloyd was originally posted to Africa as a missionary, after his post was finished he decided to travel to the Western coast through the Congo, rather than return directly to England. Scarce in true first. 1899
