Within the text there are numerous black and white illustrations, cartoons and advertisements. Brown coloured boards with white beer advertisements on front cover, and white writing on spine. Illustrated dustwrapper, being a reproduction of Sam Griffin poster "I Allus Has Wan at Eleven", with yellow background and red and white writing on front panel and white on spine. The lore, legends, songs and anecdotes of the Aussie pub. Rubbing to the base edge of the boards, and to the heel of the spine. Dustjacket is rubbed on the spine, and has several short tears,. There are also a couple of foxing spots to the front edge of the textblock and previous owner's name on the title page Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). We seem to specialize in non mainstream stuff but read and stock Science-fiction, fantasy, detective fiction, history, biography and true crime, war, natural history. cooking, children's books and try to avoid current text books.We probably have the largest collection of Science Fiction, Penguins and general crime in Victoria in an open shop ( David has 8 bookcases 900mm x 2200mm of sf and f) ( Penny has 8 bookcases 1200mm x 2400 of sf and f )On shelf each shop has 30,000 plus books and we list over 30000 books online
