Small creases on front wrap, near fine. A screenplay suggested by the life and stories of Hans Christian Anderson. Eventually produced in 1952 as *Hans Christian Anderson*, a musical and directed by Charles Vidor and featuring Danny Kaye as Hans Christian Andersen, and Farley Granger. the screenplay was credited to Moss Hart, and as being based on a story by Connolly. Aside from his own credited screenplays, Connolly was a noted script doctor, contributing uncredited to *Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Harvey, Meet John Doe* and others.
