New York, 1937. unbound. Black-and-white image, 10 x 8 inches, photographer's stamp on verso, New York, March 3, 1937, with a carbon onionskin bio of Dr. Sears glued to top margin (glue stain along bottom margin verso). This photo, taken at an Allied Dentist Council seminar, shows Sears with an oversized demonstration model of his invention. Inscribed in lower right corner: "Colonel Myles Sacker With all good wishes, Victor H. Sears." Accompanied by a portion of the original seminar program, 6 x 7.5 inches, cut from a larger sheet. Very good condition.<br/><br/> American dentist who invented and developed dentures in their modern form.<br/><br/>
