Darkest siena stamped cloth, gilt letters on spine, gilt decoration on front cover; 256 pp., many BW illus. The sixth volume of an eventual 72-volume set providing details about the lives and works of Dutch and Flemish artists who produced prints, etchings, engravings and woodcuts during the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries. Supplies some collector information into the 1940s. This volume presents artists alphabetically from Gerard Douffet (1594-1660) to Jacob Floris (1524-1581). Rare.
