Descripción:
Good. First Edition. Pamphlet. An uncommon pamphlet extolling the exciting farming opportunities in Nebraska. No date but probably 1873, with 24 pages similar to the first edition of 1871 but no publisher listed. Text contains references to New Year's Day 1873 having passed, with statistics from 1872. Stringbound, light soil and dampstains with one pencil marking. An engraving of the valley of the Big Blue illustrates the back wrap. Butler details the farming and homesteading prospects in Nebraska, with plenty of statistics, comparisons to other regions, and references to the area's mild and healthy climate. Eight copies found on OCLC. Howes B 1074. ; 8" x 5 1/2"; 24 pp .
