Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Plates are bright and clear. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing.

Collins, 1962. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Signed. The title page has been signed by Norman Carr in blue ink. The dust jacket is clipped on both sides and quite shelf rubbed and edge worn, with light damage along the edges of the spine, but it remains bright and whole in spite of this. The boards are strong and sturdy. Internally, there is a previous owner's signature and a stamp marking on the front end page. There are some tape residue markings on the end pages and pastedowns, but the rest of the pages within are crisp, neat and complete. Tightly bound and presents handsomely in cellophane. JK.
