An interesting edition; boldly advertised as the 'First Popular-Priced Edition', rather than the first paperback edition (which it wasn't!), and unashamedly mimicking the design of Signet's then-current James Bond paperbacks novels, this is the first of several printings from the Dell Publishing Company, whose rather cynical marketing proved successful. Used condition with expected tanning to text blocks, some rubbing/creasing, a few spines sunned, rubbed to joints, may have owner names etc., but no significant defects. 'Thunderball' has a tip-ex/liquid paper spill to cover.
