Jacket is in two pieces; shows considerable wear missing several chips and worn along all edges. Hardcover is badli bumped at all 4 corners and a small tear at top of spine Boards are bright and clean.

Contents: name to front with short message and date and with old price crossed out otherwise the rest is clean and unmarked with Edward Gorey's black and white drawings throughout. Light age spots to edges of text block. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.

The book is laid into a matching price-clipped dust wrapper with a self-portrait by Gorey on the rear panel. The corners and head and tail of the book's spine are rubbed. There are a couple of tiny tears to the top edge of the dust jacket with minor rubbing to the folds. The top of the jacket's inner flaps are darkened.
