Paris: Contact Editions (Dijon by Maurice Darantiere), 1923. Estimated to be 300 copies. VG-, some chipping to spine corners and the grey paper has about broken through but is still firmly held in place by the cardboard underneath. Light soiling to cover edges and ancient pencil writing of the word Presentation at top of cover. Grey wraps with printed title. 60, (2) pp. Colophon at end. Short statement at the beginning tells us these pieces were written in Gloucester, New York, Santa Fe and Berlin between 1917 and 1922. This copy is inscribed by Hartley to (what appears to be) Hudson and June Walker, and dated June 13, 1940, and signed by him. He has also signed the middle of the Title-Page. Quite scarce and with a lengthy 6-line inscription.
