Light soiling to gutters of a few pages and hinges. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Light scuffing to spine ends. Mild sunning to spine and edges. Rubbed pale marking overall.

Fine condition without dust jacket, possibly as issued. The covers look great. The binding is tight. The interior pages are clean and unmarked. There is a small abrasion to the front flyleaf. I believe that the pastedowns and first and last flyleaves were replaced professionally as they do not show the same age tanning that is seen within the rest of the text. Barrie, was a Scottish novelist and dramatist. Best known for introducing the world to Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, and the magical world of Neverland, he was also actively engaged in the theatrical world. Moving amid a wide circle of luminaries including George Meredith, Robert Louis Stevenson, and George Bernard Shaw, it was ultimately Llewelyn Davies and his family who influenced Barrie's works the most. Important to his personal and professional life, their active group of five sons inspired much of the world of Peter Pan. Fine.
