Issued without a dust wrapper, the quarter-bound black buckram has some slight surface marks and is bumped at the spine tips. The red cloth is also faintly marked in places. The rough-cut text blocks, with a gilt top edge, are also slightly toned. There is slight foxing to the end papers. Of the 99 copies printed, this is number 14 and flat signed by the author's hand in black ink to the colophon page. Overall, this is a very good copy of a scarce limited edition title.

Loosely inserted are the original publisher's flyer and a press-cutting of the Richard Aldington review quoted above.
