A sound copy with secure inner hinges. Early owner's signature on the front flyleaf of John P. Cushman. No copyright date, but this was printed circa 1840s-1850s. The owner / signer might be John P. Cushman (1784-1848) the American lawyer and politician from New York, or it may be his son. We have several other books from the Cushman family.

Heavily scuffed cover with splitting at the hinges. Black spine label can still be read. No missing pages. The paper has some pencil marks, soiling, some chewed corners, and foxing. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Y5 . Rough. Leather Bound. Later Edition.. 1832.
