He has dated it in the year of publication. There is some very sporadic pen marks and a few words to the text. There are also many check marks in pen to the index. Bumps to a couple of corners. Former owner bookplate to the front pastedown. The dust jacket has some sunning to the spine, three tears to the rear panel, the longest of which is 3/4". Baylor, the Apache Kid, and Black Jack Ketchum are just a few known by Ben throughout Texas and the New Mexico frontier. Bound in yellow cloth, spine lettering gilt and brown, near fine in unclipped pictorial dust jacket, some rubbing to rear panel and edges, wrinkle near foot, numbers 9368 stamped to front pastedown and bottom of front flap, previous owner's bookplate on rear pastedown.
