Aldridge was an English Professor at the University of Michigan, an author and one of the most important literary critics of his generation. This copy is well worn and includes much underlining and a few margin notes made by Aldridge. The front cover is nearly unattached and is barely being held by one of the staples. A fair copy only but an important copy.
