Pencil and pen markings to front pastedown and free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Minor sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.

Inserts are a book mark from a London book shop and a program for the International Anselm Congress 1970 in Bad Wimpfe/N. in English, French, German and Italian.Binding is firm but boards are in terrible shape, stained , bumped and abraded. This fine volume begs for rebinding, which would increase its value considerably.
