Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Dust jacket shows light scuffing, edge and corner wear, 1"" tear at lower back. 184 pages, with heavy paper, extensively illustrated in black and white with photographs, architectural drawings, interiors, elevations, floorplans, lots of detail: scrollwork, lamps, columns, floors designs, etc. Reprinted from 1778 & '79, features English country houses in the style of conquecento, and French rococo, Neo-classicism. 154 illustrations.
